About Good Good Wood

One day, when I was 12 years old, my brother came home from school with a clock he made in shop class. I was absolutely fascinated by it (though looking back, it was an awful clock, sorry Connor). The idea that you could create something, anything, out of wood was beautiful to me. 2 years later and it was my turn to take shop class. I fell in love instantly. 

Fast forward 10 years, and now I am the shop teacher. I get to live out my passion of teaching students how to woodwork.

On the side, I get to do this - create custom furniture. There is something innately wonderful about turning rough, splintered hardwood into a finished piece that people can gather around. I am excited to share my passion with you.
